As mentioned above im am trying to get information on my family anyone that would know has passed away, trying to get more information on Pietro Caputi and his name comes up on a list i found under the Nazi War Crimes Commission. I do know my grandfather was in the WWII so i believe this could be him. If you can assist with telling me how i find out more information about this person or what crimes/punishment he faced, where he was stationed in the war etc that would be a fantastic help, so any information you can assist with is fantastic. I am in Australia dont know if thats relevant or not. Thank you in advance for any help that you can offer.

You will need to know a bit more about his military service, what branch, where he enlisted etc. If you had a birth record or dog-tags, that would give you a military service number.
You may be able to find out more by researching information through the War Crimes Commission archives, the Holocaust Rememberance Project.
Finally, you might find some results by searching ancestry.com or familysearch.org. It is helpful to know dates, towns, and names of those who might be related above and below on his family tree.
