The Bell Tower at Greenville, SC Furman University was built in 1965. It houses 60 bells, and is an exact replica of the original that was erected in 1854 and was located in downtown Greenville at the old men’s campus. Some pieces of the original are in the foundation of the new tower which stands on a peninsula by a 40 acre lake.
