In "Frankenstein," in what ways are Victor Frankenstein and the monster he creates different in their life experiences?

    Victor and the monster have very different life experiences. Victor grew up in a loving home with people who adored him and with a true friend in Henry Clerval. He was accepted for who he was and at at early age probably knew who he would marry. His family was well of and allowed him to study what he wanted and even to go to the university. The monster,on the other hand, was rejected from the moment he was created. He must teach himself everything, including how to read and survive in a hostile environment. He is rejected because of his appearance everywhere he goes and even though he is kind to people, they assume he is evil. He has no friends, no family and no social support system.
