The principal characters in The Eyes of the Dragon are two sons who are each being groomed for the use of power, but by those with opposing goals. Peter, the obedient, handsome, and intelligent son, remembers his mother's lessons: that an individual's nature is both good and evil and that a godly king uses a napkin.
