In other words, the writer reiterates the thesis of the essay in rewording the main points. For instance, if a person writes a persuasive essay, he/she, then, phrases his topic sentence of the conclusion with "Because------------,---------------,and ---------------(the 3 points of the thesis) the ----------should -----------(whatever the argument is and the decision that the writer wishes the reader to make). For these reasons, _____________. The conclusion clinches the validity of the point(s) made in the essay.
Many people struggle with a conclusion for the simple reason that they have not developed and supported their thesis suffieciently and reasonably. If they will fully develop their essay and reread it and revise it, the conclusion will become obvious to them as they can, then, summarize the main points which should be apparent in the topic sentences of the body of their essay.
