If I am writing an essay about the differences and similarities between Kuwait and Egypt, what should my concluding statement be like?

In my essay I wrote that the differences are in the weather, culture, social status and places to visit in each country while they have religion and language in common.

    Here's an enotes link about how to make a strong conclusion.

    The kind of essay you're writing is a bit harder to conclude, though, because it's not (apparently) trying to persuade anyone about anything.

    I think in your case I'd perhaps try to give my opinion as to whether the two countries are, overall, generally similar or generally different.  I'd give my opinion and then a few of the facts from my essay that supported that point of view.

    So, something like "Although K and E are alike in many ways, there are more ways in which they are different.  They are alike in these ways.... But those similarities are less important than these differences...

    The explanation included with the questions is in itself a conclusion to the essay. May be in line with the total length of the essay this statement can be elaborated to some extent. This Kind of conclusion summarizes the content of the contents of the main body of the essay.

    Of course there can be other type of conclusions. Use of these alternate type of conclusion will depend to a large extent on the purpose of the essay and the audience for whom the essay is intended. For example, if your essay may compare the two locations from different view points such as tourism, business or service. Depending on the focus of the essay you may conclude the essay with some advice on profitability of the two destination for a specific purpose. You may also conclude the essay with advice on a combination of different purposes.
