I am stumped on how to put them into the essay. Do I talk about them at once or do I put them in there seperatly? I havent wrote an essay in so long....I think that I have forgotten how to do it!!!

I imagine this is too late to help, but...  De Las Casas is going to represent the Spaniards who are concerned with the welfare of the Indians and Columbus is probably going to represent those more interested in exploiting them.  So they're on opposite sides and I would, therefore, put them in separately.  Of course, that's without me knowing what the exact question you are asked is.
