    Some of emory's strongest academic program include the science and business programs. The chemistry department is always hailed as having some of the best science profressors. Chemistry majors are extensively taught and even go so far into their studies to include graduate study topics. Emory also offers a dual-degree mechanical engineering program with Georgia Tech that is ranked #1 in the nation. Within just 5 years, a student earns his or her B.S. at Emory and M.S. at Georgia Tech. Nevertheless, if students are looking into the pre-med track, they will be very well prepared for the MCATs. Emory also boasts the highest percentage of students who go on to medical school. Emory also offers one of the best business programs. The Goizueta Busines school is consistently ranked in the top 10. This certaintly is not surprising, especially when top business firms, including Goldman Sachs, Charles Schwab, JP Morgan, Coca-Cola, Bank of America, etc, constantly recruit students from Emory. Closely related to business, the economic department is one of the best nation. The rigorous program attracts students who eventually go on to attend top law schools, graduate programs, or top positions in related fields.
