School Spirit

The best way to see school spirit is going to games. Even though our football team is not that great, sometimes the stadium is so full that people have to sit on the grass near the field just to watch. The Student Government Association sponsors Homecoming, which is usually a big hit with activities all week long. Our basketball head coach is named Ernie Nestor, so we got creative by calling the gym “The Nest” and having a section of Elon fans who wear all black called “Nestor's Nasties.” We show a lot of school spirit at the games, but otherwise we're a pretty neutral campus. However, Greek pride is especially prevalent all over campus, and you can always find people with their letters on.
