scenario
scenarioA history of the future of an economy as it would be on given assumptions about how it operates. The assumptions, for example about government tax and spending policies, can be varied to produce alternative scenarios. The construction of alternative scenarios is common when considering the effects of policy changes, in models too complicated to be capable of analytical solutions.
