Students Speak Out On Overall Experience
“I've met a lot of great friends here. I live five hours away from school, so I had to adjust to living so far away from home and being away from old high school friends. You'll see that, although there are many people on campus who come from many different states and countries, a large portion of the students come from only about an hour away. You'll definitely meet people who will take you home for a home-cooked meal and tell you how to get around town easily (from having grown up in the area).I'd have to say there hasn't been a time where I've been overly homesick or anything.”
“I am glad that I chose Duquesne, and I am very satisfied with the education I am receiving. The money you pay for tuition is outrageously high, but it is well worth it. It's a small campus, so you can leave your room about 5 or 10 minutes before your classes and have plenty of time to spare. I believe Duquesne is preparing me to take the boards and receive my pharmacy degree without a problem. I don't know what you plan on majoring in, but if it is something to do with health care, Duquesne will prepare you with the proper background.”
