Flex

Cash equivalency that a student may use at various dining halls.

The Framp

Common nickname of the Off Ramp eatery.

The Happy Bus

This is a free shuttle service that carries students to and from Oakland and Duquesne on Fridays and Saturdays. Named so due to the large number of inebriated students using this service.

The Hill

The Hill District, which is adjacent to campus.

Milano's

Pizza Milano. Kept in business by Duquesne students. Learn their number: (412) 281–8181.

The Stairs

Common meeting area for druggies, off of campus and away from the police.

St. Alcatraz

St. Ann's common nickname. This is due to the separation of the guy's and girl's wings by the main lobby.
