Lets take a minute though and look at the topics you proposed. Poverty is probably the easiest. In "Araby", it is the background of the narrator. He lives a life of poor conditions and little education, which is why he is so enthralled by the idea of the carnival. In "Little Cloud", we see the envy of Little towards his wealthier friend. The idea of emigration shows up in "Eveline", although the purpose for the emigration is associated with love and not economics. That the boy in "An Encounter" is enthralled b y the stories of the American West also shows influence of emigration. Connemara is shown in "Two Gallants" and "Eveline".
