What is the importance to chapters XIII and XXII in the first book of the book Don Quixote?

For my spanish class I am supposed to read a few chapter.  Then I am supposed to summarize them and add what I think they mean.  I had no problem writing the summaries, I actually already have about 6 pages for these and two more chapters.  But I need some help understanding what Chapters XIII and XXII actually mean in modern times I guess.  If anyone could explain this to me it would be a huge burden off my shoulders.  Thank you.
