Practicing Pronoun / Antecedent Agreement

Practicing Pronoun / Antecedent Agreement

Excerpt From this Document

Find and correct all the pronoun/atecedent errors. Keep a tally.

Someone should have told me that they were going to go to the mini-mart! Imean, don’t people understand that I have needs? How can anybody go an entire day without having their Super-Gulp or Starbuck’s? Maybe other people are just stronger than me. Maybe each one of us has their own way of coping with stress. My mom and dad say that they don’t understand my obsession, but I don’t understand his or her obsessions, either! Neither of them has a clue that they are just addicted as me!

About this Document

An exercise that you can give students to practice pronoun/antecedent agreement. Suitable for all grade levels studying the grammar rule. Given to me by a coworker a few years back - she used it with freshmen, and I've used it with seniors. Both of us saw improvement in our kids' understanding.
