A Doll's House: Character Analysis

Description

Here is a lesson I adapted from a larger lesson plan. It combines group work with individual essay writing. I used it in my honors English 2 class.

First, the students work in pairs to identify on a chart some character traits for each of the main characters in the play. Then each person will use that chart to write an essay analyzing one character's personality.

I wrote the introductory paragraph as a model of how I want the students to write future essays.
