Boys Don't Cry Movie Questions
The movie, "Boys Don't Cry" was used as a part of my sociology elective course (senior level and obviously I had to have a consent form signed by parents at the beginning to allow the students to view this film). This was used in my gender stratification unit. Although a highly controversial film, it is poignant about the stereotypes and biases that exist in the society based on gender. It also raises a lot of awareness about terrible crimes such as the Brandon Teena murder in Nebraska.
