"1984" Rewrite a Story for the History Books

Description

This activity challenges students to take a major historical event and change it drastically the way in which Winston had to do in the Ministry of Truth. The story is to be written in newspaper article fashion and if students are having trouble choosing an event choices are listed. It's so fun to actually have the class share their stories with each other.
