Things I Wish I Knew Before Coming to Denison

  • Go to parties the first week of school. Even if you don’t drink, you’ll meet plenty of people. Just be cautious; if you are under 21 and at a party that gets busted, you will get an alcohol violation.

  • Buy something with Denison insignia on it. Almost everyone owns something.

  • • Don’t wear your keys on a lanyard. It’ll give you away as a freshman.

  • • Orientation activities aren’t always fun, but you should do them anyway.

  • The workload is tough. Books are heavy.

  • Going to June orientation is a must.

  • Nothing is more useful than proper time management.
