“Socially, I had problems with Denison life. I found it to be very conservative and elitist. It took me a year and a half to find decent friends. I wanted to transfer really bad. However, once I got into my major courses, I realized just how wonderful the education at Denison was, and I stayed. And now that I’ve found people I enjoy being around, I wouldn’t leave Denison for the world!”

“Denison is wonderful. If you’d have told me in high school that I would enjoy such a conservative place, I would have laughed at you, but I do. I do get annoyed at times, but I think Denison has fabulous academics, pulls in awesome speakers (for the most part), and I do like the small-town setting. It’s great.”
