I am feeling rather confused as the imperial power is evidently traced in post colonial studies. But introducing transculturation as related to post colonial may seem vague to me. Transculturation happens with no need for the presence of imperial power. The case is even true in terms of traveler and travelee where there is a contact zone; a phase when codes of culture clash.
