[In the following essay, Chester argues that by integrating Native American stories into novel form in Green Grass, Running Water, King has recreated them and, in turn, the stories continue to recreate the world.]
When I tell the story, a lot of times I like to tell something, then I find that I switch to another one. And I couldn't help it. I got to tell that. In that way, it takes longer. But they important stories anyway.
