Review of The Law of Love, a “multimedia” novel that includes a variety of additional materials such as a compact disc with music, illustrated panels in comic strip form, and selections of pre-Columbian poetry scattered throughout. Houston calls the work “seriously flawed,” and censures Esquivel for producing a tedious and confusing work.
