Adriana is the wife of Antipholus of Ephesus. Her husband has spent a good deal of time away from home with his business dealings and in overseeing the making of a ring intended for her. It seems that their marriage is relatively new, and she is concerned that her husband already finds her uninteresting or unattractive.
