    "The Colored Museum" is a play by the African American dramatist George C. Wolfe.

    It had its world premiere at the Crossroads Theatre Company on 26th March 1986.

    Its original  executive director was Rick Khan.

    Its artistic director was Lee Lichardson.

    The original director of THE COLORED MUSEUM is Lee Kenneth Richardson. He directed the original production at Crossroads in New Brunswick, New Jersey; the world premiere in New York at the New York Shakespeare Festival; the London premiere at the Royal Court; and the Los Angeles premiere at the Mark Taper Forum.
