Question:
Looking for a SPECIAL GRANT. I am a college graduate looking for funding to enroll in two non-degree granting sustainable design programs.
I am pursuing an environmental career focused on green buildings and natural resource management and want to get more "occupational training" before continuing on to graduate school. I am experiencing great difficulty in finding grants that fit my demographic: grants to individuals - not for enrollment at a particular school (=non-degree) - not state restrictive (I'm a NY resident) - grantee can already hold a post-secondary degree. Basically I need something with no barriers to applying, and preferably with a generous prize. I would LOVE to find a grant to cover these professional development courses, since taking out big loans before graduate school is an undesirable option.
