I don't know of any one particular "good" website for finding scholarships as there are many. Just type "scholarships" in your search line and it will bring up several websites. Then check them out. Some will appeal to you more than others. Most of them require you to fill out a profile on yourself and they match you up with the scholarships they have that fit your ciriteria. The more information you give them the better able they are to help you. Good luck! Posted by marbar57 on Oct 30, 2009. |

There are many, as mentioned above, FastWeb has been successful for many of my students. You fill out a basic profile that includes your income, background, ethnicity, GPA, etc., and when a scholarship comes open that you qualify for, they email you the application. It's pretty painless. It's also important to remember that about 20% of scholarships are not awarded to anyone since no one applied for them. Seriously, there are scholarships for people of Norwegian descent who have red hair and plan to be journalists. They are sometimes that specific. So don't be afraid to apply for them even if some of your credentials aren't stellar. There is still a good amount of money out there to go to school on if you are willing to put in the time.
