Students Speak Out On Overall Experience
“Wooster, after several years, has come to mean things that I never could have anticipated—wonderful things. Wooster means waving ‘hullo’ to people on the way to class that you don't even really know, but you've seen on that route everyday and now consider them a part of your life. Wooster means running around in the freezing cold, with 100 other students, stuffing the Kauke Arch with snow for no good reason, but having a marvelous time doing so. Wooster means walking into Mom's Truckstop with the intent of getting a grilled cheese to go, and instead running into an old friend, plopping down and watching him perform card tricks for the next hour. Wooster is a hundred different undefinable things, a crazy world unto itself, a world which I am incredibly grateful and amused to be a part of.”
“I guess I like Wooster because of the small community. You get a lot of attention from professors. I also love Wooster because they steal massive amounts of my money for the food plan, and they take away my computers in the residence halls to give me the Wired Scot. Other than that, there are lots of opportunities for students to get involved in the campus community, and I think there is a lot of diversity on campus. There are a lot of international students and minority students. There are a lot of resources, such as the writing center, that can help students. They helped me! And I have my friends.”
