    Yes, all freshman are required to live on campus unless there is some extenuating circumstance which would prevent that.  Before entering the college, a freshman roommate questionare must be filled out in which an incoming student will fill out his or her preferences and living habits.  The college uses those answers to pair roommates.  Freshman can also request a specific roommate if they have someone in mind.
