I am currently leading my students in a Jr. Research project. One of their required sources is an interview conducted by the student. Is there anyone who would be willing to participate in an email interview concerning the Cold War? If so please post and let me know, I have a student who is having a very hard time finding someone to interview. Thanks so much! Posted by kpasserotti on Feb 16, 2009. |

Just out of curiosity, what are the requirements or criteria for being the one interviewed? Must we have lived during the cold war? Or, does it just entail our thoughts on the events and resulting way of life? I'm a bit of a youngster, and can't give an awfully lot of input on the era, but I'm willing to help if no one better qualified is able to do so. they can send me a message here on enotes, or, if you need, I can give you my email to give to them. Hope to help! Posted by afi80fl on Feb 16, 2009. |

I'd be happy to be interviewed. You might want someone slightly older than me, though. I was born at the end of 1951. Posted by cburr on Feb 16, 2009. |

I would be glad to help ... I am that "slightly older" person that cburr referred to in #3 :). I was born in 1946 and lived through most of the Cold War. Posted by timbrady on Feb 16, 2009. |

Thanks everyone! In regards to requirements, it needs to be someone who experienced it/lived during that time or someone who is an expert in the field, ie: a college professor. I will pass along this website to my student and see what they decide to do. Thank you all again for your help! Posted by kpasserotti on Feb 17, 2009. |

Cool project! My mom would be willing to answer questions that the student has... you'll have to let us know how this turns out. Posted by amy-lepore on Feb 17, 2009. |
