Things I Wish I Knew Before Coming to Colby

  • Waterville is not a typical college town, and it's not too close to campus.

  • Speaking of not too close to campus, the airport's an hour and a half away.

  • It's totally not weird to talk to random people in the first week of classes—in fact, that's how you'll make the most new and lasting friendships.

  • Freshmen get to have cars on campus.

  • Two things that could be potentially nerdy and aren't: pearls and chem-free living.
