Students Speak Out On Overall Experience

“I wasn't really sure about where I wanted to go to college and ended up sort of falling into CMC because the athletic department recruits really well. Luckily, CMC ended up being the most perfect fit for me. I really like going to a small school. The small school experience is not for everyone, but it's definitely right for me. I like the intimacy of the campus. I like rolling out of bed two minutes before class starts and being on time because things are just that close. I like that I've been able to form real personal connections with my teachers and the large majority of my class. There are so many amazing resources and opportunities offered by CMC.”

“Most people who go to CMC and don't like it just leave (the usual complaints are the narrow educational focus and that it's not a traditional liberal arts school). Thus, you have a remainder that is devoted to CMC. My least favorite part is the lack of cable television on campus (but that is changing). My favorite part is the Athenaeum and brunch on the weekends. There is no college like CMC anywhere else. It is amazing how well we are taken care of and cared for. One must appreciate it now because the real world is beginning to seem like a pretty scary place compared to the paradise that is CMC.”
