    G. is very connected to the village. It seems his own feelings and experiences cause similar changes in the village itself. After her leaves, he experiences a relief in being disconnected from his mother and village. When he returns, he feels this change, and knows he is no longer a part of it. Just as he has moved, now, so has the village.
