The Hudson Relays
Held annually since 1910, the event commemorates the 1883 move of Western Reserve College from Hudson to University Circle. Relay teams run five-mile laps around campus and the surrounding community, ending at the Adelbert Rocks, which list winners of past races.
The Sci-Fi Marathon
The Science Fiction Marathon comprises over 36 hours of back-to-back science fiction movies, trailers, and surprises that takes place in the 580-seat Strosacker Auditorium, home of the Case Film Society. The event was started in 1976 and is popular with Case students and the Cleveland community, as well as people from out of state and even from other countries. In Miriam Carey's 365 Ways to Meet People in Cleveland, Case's Science Fiction Marathon is mentioned as one of the best ways.
