Absolutely!  What a fascinating experiment in human nature.  I would love to be part of it except for the fear of what Chaucer would see and expose in my own human nature.  None of us are perfect, and he is extremely good at pin-pointing those faults and foibles.

For dirty jokes, the Miller would be the man you'd want to hang with on the journey.  For purity and spiritual cleansing, hang with the Parson and his brother, the Plowman.

All the rest, with the exception of the Knight, beware!  For as Ben Franklin said, we must be careful with whom we associate, since their faults will rub off  (to lie down with dogs is to get up fleas).

It depends on who I got to walk with. I wouldn't want to spend too much time with the wife of Bath, she seems like a drama queen. I would enjoy the company of the Miller, but would want to stay away from the clergy. I guess there would be enough different kinds of people to make it an interesting trip.
