I do not believe in the ideas of Pangloss... because he is too unrealistic and he doesn't even think before he says things for example, at the beginning go the book when he was sick and was about to die he said that we live in the best of all possible worlds because we still have chocolate. I believe that panglosse's ideas are not bad however i couldn't say they were good either. He seems to be a bit too optimistic at times when it is unnecessary. I think that he however adds to the satire of the book Posted by cathh on May 15, 2008. |
