Students Speak Out On Overall Experience
“I just graduated, and I look back on my years at CSUN and see that my overall experience there was great. I had a lot of fun, met a lot of great people, and learned so much from my experience there. I would definitely recommend going to CSUN to anyone. A few words to the wise: make sure you are on top of things with registering for classes because if you miss a second, you will get screwed and possibly postpone your graduation because of one small mistake. Try to make friends with as many people as you can because you will never know when you will need them. Try to live in the dorms for at least one year, get involved, and last but not least, have as much fun as you can, and live for the day.”
“My overall experience is okay. I don't wish I were somewhere else because I'm too far into my program. There are clubs and things to get involved in, but most people don't because they work or commute. The teaching program was not exactly what I pictured, it became a very demanding and stressful major that also made it hard to switch once I started. Although it's considered one of the best in teacher training, it leaves very little opportunity to explore fun classes that they offer here like sailboating or debate.”
