Though efficiency and effectiveness are two separate aspects of an organization, it is observed that organization that perform well in one of these ares also do well in the other. The reason for this can be attributed directly to the ability of the organization to manage itself well.
An organization that is well managed is able to determine clearly what objectives are in its best interest, and take necessary steps and adopt all appropriate processes and policies to achieve those objectives.
There are no separate technical methods for achieving efficiency, effectiveness, or a combination of the two. The common processes of management including planning, organizing, leading and controlling, when performed well in line with a company's operations and environment, automatically lead to better performance.
