    According to Muhammad Yunus third world businesses cannot start and thrive because they have no access to loans. In particular, he showed that even small loans can have a substantial positive affect on the lives of these rural poor. Muhammad Yunus was the founder of Grameen Bank. This bank has been awarding microcredit loans to very poor people for 30 years. Muhammad Yunus is an economist in Bagladesh. Yunus won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006. Now many university students are studying his theories and microfinance techniques.
