What is the self management?

This term may have a special significance in business vernacular, but in general terms it means what it suggests: that a person manages his own time and his own work and activities. Part of self-management is defining objectives, setting short-term and long-term goals, and making plans to achieve them. A critical part of self-management is establishing deadlines and learning to manage one's time effectively. As in all endeavors, being organized is essential in self-management.

Self management refers to managing ones personal activities and achievements. The objective is to improve ones ones personal effectiveness, and happiness. This requires right development and use of ones body, mind and time to achieve success and satisfaction in whatever profession a person chooses to pursue. The main methods and functions of self management would include the following.

  2. Planning and controlling of career goals and progress.
  3. Keeping body and mind fit
  4. Personal habits and discipline
