Tips to Succeed at Bucknell

  • Go turn your AOL Instant Messenger off when you are working.

  • Get to know your professors.

  • Go to class—classes are small, so the professors know if you don't show up.

  • Get your GEs out of the way early on.

  • Don't take 8 a.m. classes, especially on Tuesdays and Thursdays, because you won't want to get up after going out on Monday and Wednesday nights.

  • Get a cell phone.

  • Visit the CDC (Career Development Center) early on.

  • Take advantage of the career fairs on and off campus.
