Students Speak Out On Overall Experience

“I usually describe my feelings about Bucknell as love/hate. The thing I hate is the cliquey, exclusive institution of the Greek system and the unnecessary social divisions it creates at such a small school. I also hate the so-called ‘Bucknell bubble,' wherein pretty much no one at the school knows or cares what's going on in the outside world, as well as the relative lack of diversity and cultural flavor that I was used to, growing up on the outskirts of a fairly large city. The things I love are the small classes, interested and interesting professors, beautiful campus, great parties, good concerts, and the genuine community feeling of the school—on any given walk across campus. If you decide to come, your experience will be what you make of it. Greek or not, it's possible to have a great experience there.”

“There is nowhere else I could picture myself enjoying college more than at Bucknell. I feel that I am lucky to have found the perfect fit for me. I have made such wonderful friends and am enjoying every part of my college experience so far. From the classroom to the nightlife, I am very happy with my choice to attend Bucknell.”
