The Story:
Gracien, Roman governor of Britain, was known throughout the land for terror and destruction. He was given orders by Roman emperor Maximian to defeat the Picts and the Scots. Only a few months after his arrival in Britain, he was brutally slain by the army of two noblemen, the twins Ethelbald and Aelfwald. Great joy and celebration broke out throughout Britain.
