In Brave New World, how is his solution to the problem of the use of propaganda by politicians illogical?

An interesting question. I'm not sure that it is. By that I mean, Huxley satirizes the state's use of propaganda, but doesn't really do so in an illogical fashion. I guess it could be shown to be illogical by its results in practice. That is to say, it produces a shallow, rigid society. The society cripples its members' minds, making them inflexible. This means they adapt perfectly well for the short term, but are not suited for adaptation over changing conditions.
