    Aldous Huxley himself wrote,

The theme of Brave New World is not the advancement of science as such; it is the advancement of science as it affects human individuals....This really revolutionary revolution is to be achieved, not in the external world, but in the souls and flesh of human beings.

These words are certainly worth reflection and response, don't you think?  Why not record your understanding of what influence the advancements of science have had upon the population of the New World and if you think these advancements have positive effects or if they have dehumanized people and left the thinking ones disastified and even tormented.

In other words, do you see any parallels in life today to what is experienced in "Brave New World"?  Has our society become desensitized and dehumanized?  Have we lost touch with the pure enjoyment of Nature as the inhabitants of the New World have?

A literary response to any literary work needs to be "your" response - not of someone else.

Your response could include answers to questions like:

    • Whether you enjoyed/liked the book, and why?
    • What specifically you find interesting in the book?
    • What parts of the book you agree or disagree with?
    • What deeper significance do you see in various parts of the book?

If you understand things like that you may also comment on language and literary style of the author.
