The communication program is rated within the top 5, if not top 3, communication programs in the country, from what I've consistently heard. The School of Management (SMG) is rated as a top school as well, and is known for being extremely rigorous, with a reputation that's famous for its competitive nature. I've also heard the Engineering program is extremely difficult and well-ranked.

Posted by coot66 on Monday September 22, 2008 at 1:38 PMAs a School of Management student, I can vouch for the superb quality of education business students get. The School of Managements is the University's strongest academic program. It has the lowest acceptance rate of all the schools and has one of the most qualified applicant pools.
The School of Management's unique curriculum starts teaching students the business during their first year and immerses them in projects that help prepare them for their future careers. It allows students to focus on classes relevant to their future career. This was actually one of the reason I ended up choosing Boston University- I wanted to start learning things pertinent to my future field as soon as possible.
