What is life like on campus? Does a lot of social activity take place on campus? Are there a lot of campus activities? How is campus dining?

Campus life is fun! You can always find something to do, no matter what you're looking for. The Student Union (GSU) always has some event going on. This past weekend, for example, they hosted a comedian, a stamp unveiling, and a concert! These events are generally free or extremely low cost. Furthermore, with Agganis Arena on campus, there's always a game or some famous group visiting! If you're looking for parties, there are plenty of MIT fraternities as well as party houses where older students are generous with admission.

Of course, there's also a quiet side to BU- many students enjoy leisurely walks or quiet study sessions on the "BU Beach" (a grassy area along the Charles River). Dining is pretty good- the larger dining halls offer wider variety than the smaller ones but you can generally find something tasty, be it something fresh off the grill or a sandwich prepared to order.
