    1) Have hope.

    2) Stay loyal to those you love, because it will keep your spirits up.

    3) Don't be afraid to lie when necessary.

    4) Show strength, even if you don't feel it.

    5) Learn your captives methods and adjust to them - learn how to avoid annoying them or breaking rules.

    6) Follow your instincts.

    7) If you must resist, be prepared to die for it.

    8) Do not doubt the ability of men to be cruel.

    9) Find something to live for - God, family, yourself, etc..  Hold on to that and focus on it during the worst.
