My favorite part is how awesomely crisp all the lines look — no computers, but they managed to get perfect concentric circles. I wonder how it was created — woodcuts? Protractors?

    Probably with a drafting compass.. it is all too easy to do concentric circles with them.

    Ainali: oops, that’s what I meant instead of protractors :P . But I still wonder whether woodcutting is involved — maybe not. (Check out this one by Rudyard Kipling, though.)
