A Scholarship for Teachers!

Wednesday, July 11th, 2007

This is exciting news. Most students who pursue a degree in teaching do so because they have a passion for helping others, not because their pathway to the classroom is full of lucrative incentives. Now there is a scholarship for students pursuing a degree in teaching offered by StraightForwardMedia.com.

This scholarship is designed to assist students who are pursuing any form of teaching degree from elementary to high school. The Teaching Scholarship is a $500 award that is distributed to a deserving candidate four times each year.

Current deadlines are as follows:

• January 14

• April 14

• July 14

• October 14

The Teacher Scholarship is just one of many scholarships sponsored by StraightForwardMedia.com. This organization has been sponsoring scholarships of a wide variety since 2003. If you don’t qualify for the Teacher Scholarship highlighted here, be sure to check out the StraightForwardMedia.com website to review other opportunities to earn financial assistance for college—chances are in your favor that you’ll find a scholarship there that you are eligible for. Since 2005, this website has been awarding over $50,000 each year to deserving students—it’s certainly worth checking out!
